From a Vision in 1972 to a Growing Educational Community
The inspiring journey of Janatha Education Society and its enduring impact on Karnataka's educational landscape.
The journey began in 1972, when Janatha Education Society was established by 12 distinguished individuals from diverse walks of life—including educators, public servants, legal scholars, and philanthropists. They shared a singular common vision: to make quality education available to students, especially those belonging to weaker and underprivileged sections of society.
Starting with foundational schooling, the society steadfastly expanded over the decades to encompass pre-university colleges, multidisciplinary degree colleges, engineering colleges, management institutions, pharmacy schools, law colleges, and teacher training institutes.
Today, Vivekananda Institutions brings together 14 prestigious institutions across four expansive campuses in Bengaluru, serving over 7,000 students. The journey is not simply measured by the number of institutions or students, but by the thousands of lives and futures shaped through education.
